It is a great tradition for Rotterdam to host the NN Marathon Rotterdam every year at the beginning of April. This marathon weekend is not only an event for top athletes but also a popular party. No other marathon in the Netherlands has quite the same exhilarating atmosphere thanks to the 950,000 fans along the route. Both the world’s most talented athletes as well as thousands of amateurs from the Netherlands and abroad run this marathon and know how it feels to finish on Coolsingel.
