During the Dutch Food Week, parties from the food sector throughout the Netherlands share their enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise with society. Farmers and horticulturalists, entrepreneurs from the supply and processing industry, retail, government and scientists show everyone how they work on the production, distribution and development of our food.
This year's Schouwburgplein Rotterdam is the central location of Dutch Food Week: here, Dutch Food Week presents numerous innovative, educational and interesting (food) concepts. In addition, there is a stage where short intermezzos, such as official opening act, announcement of challenges, dialogues, political statements and cooking demonstrations take place during the week. The aim is to inform the general public and to introduce them to healthy Dutch food.
